Terms of service
Last updated: 21 August 2026
1. Who we are
AllegroMenu is operated by [OPERATOR NAME / COMPANY] ([TAX ID / NIF]), [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [COUNTRY] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@allegromenu.com. These terms govern your use of allegromenu.com and the services described below. By placing an order you accept them.
2. The service
AllegroMenu turns a restaurant menu you provide (photo, PDF or text) into a structured menu, translates it into the languages you choose and produces a print-ready PDF and a web menu reachable through a QR code. Reading your menu and reviewing the dishes is free; you pay to download the PDF and publish the web menu.
Translations and the structuring of your menu are produced automatically with artificial-intelligence models. You review and can edit every dish before and after purchase. We do our best to produce accurate results, but you are responsible for checking the final content before you print or publish it.
3. Allergen information
You, the food business operator, declare the allergens. AllegroMenu offers a grid with the 14 allergens listed in Annex II of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and may suggest allergens that are evident from the text of a dish. Suggestions are only hints: nothing is marked until you confirm it. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the allergen information shown on your menus, as required by the food information law that applies to your business. AllegroMenu does not verify ingredients or recipes and accepts no liability for allergen information you declare.
4. Prices, payment and what you get
- One menu, pay once: €19.90 for one menu with up to 3 target languages, plus €2.00 per additional language. Includes the PDF and a web menu with QR code that stays online for 30 days from purchase.
- Menu Live subscription: €9.90 per month or €79.00 per year. Keeps your web menu and QR code online, with unlimited edits, re-translations in all available languages and new PDFs for as long as the subscription is active.
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable; the applicable tax is calculated at checkout based on your location. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the link in your purchase email; the web menu remains online until the end of the period already paid.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
The PDF and the web menu are digital content delivered immediately after payment. By completing the purchase you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once the content has been delivered, you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16(m)). Independently of this, if you are not happy with the result you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a one-time purchase by writing to hello@allegromenu.com; we refund without questions as long as the request is made in good faith. Subscription fees already charged are not refunded, but cancelling stops any further charge.
6. Your content and our licence
Your menu, dish names, descriptions and prices remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, translate and display that content for the sole purpose of providing the service, including showing your web menu to anyone who opens its link or scans its QR code. You confirm you have the right to use the content you upload. We may remove content that is unlawful or that you are not entitled to use.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features or prices; changes to prices do not affect purchases already made and are announced to subscribers at least 30 days before they apply. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (for example, automated bulk use of the free menu reader).
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, nor for the consequences of inaccurate content (including allergen information) that you reviewed and published. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer where they apply.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. If you are a consumer you also benefit from the mandatory rules of the country where you live. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We prefer to solve problems directly: write to hello@allegromenu.com first.
